Summary:
Our Client in Plano is in need of a HR Compliance consultant.
This person supports HR Compliance in the following programs and deliverables.
  • BCP Tool deployment & upcoming Annual GR Assessment
  • SOX Audit Preparation (starting Q3)
  • Record Management Compliance (ongoing)
  • Maintenance of policies at the backend & support to Legal
Responsibilities:
  • Applies HR Compliance specific subject matter knowledge to solve simple and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.
  • Works on problems of varying complexity and scope.
  • May provide direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and decision-making process.
  • Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.
  • Has the ability to handle most unique situations across HPE Human Resources.
  • May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
    Responsibilities
  • Implements human resources programs to meet HR Compliance needs.
  • Manages the delivery of multiple programs simultaneously across a given geography (mostly global HR).
  • May represent the company to both internal and external stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • Communicates HR and HPE policies (i.e. Legal) to HR leaders and employees; works with HR colleagues to deliver programs that are aligned with global policies and meet function-specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Masters level degree or equivalent experience, preferable MBA in HR,
  • Experience in human resources in an HR Generalist, or HR Consulting role. Preferably some experience in HR Compliance/Audits.
  • Strong knowledge of all human resources areas.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
  • Impact/Scope
May support HR Compliance Programs of varying scope, complexity, and geographic distribution, or may lead the HR program creation and delivery for less complex compliance areas.
