Position requires strong ASP/MVC/API, C#, Visual Studio and IIS programming skills and the ability to develop and release code revisions in a timely manner. Strong developer skills, including development best practices, version control, in line commenting and logical code segmentation. Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of secure coding best practices, secure software design, access management, software vulnerability analysis and the secure software development lifecycle. Qualified candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and reporting skills and be able to effectively work within a project team. This Security Engineer position requires 3+ years of development experience using Microsoft .Net software development tools such as Visual Studio - C# and SQL Server. Position location: MSP or ATL. Knowledge of SSO authentication/authorization and Ping Federate/Access is nice to have. Position is a contract with opportunity to hire full-time. Skills: • Proficiency with C# Microsoft Visual Studio required. • Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming. • The ability to write a clean and readable code. • Ability to follow Code Maintainability best practices • Excellent Communication skills and ability to work well with others • Comfortable reading and reusing code • Ability to refactor code Technical skills: • Strong C# web development experience • Strong SQL Database development • Web and Backend • Web API • MVC • Good understanding of current .NET framework / .NET Core • Application/API Security Best practices • Version Control knowledge • Knowledge of SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth2 authentication protocols Nice to have: • SSO and authentication/authorization • Ping Federate/Ping Access knowledge • PowerShell • Java development
