Requirement: Solid understanding of Microsoft based BI landscape and define the future BI roadmap to embark the BI transformation journey. Other than SQL/Microsoft BI technology, need to understand the Mongo DB basic concepts.
 
He will also assist clients in future product selection, strategy, development, implementation and change management of BI landscape towards MongoDB and some open source. Will formulates and recommends standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the BI and DW ecosystem. Client is planning to move out from SQL and need help on defining next gen BI on any NO SQL foot print.
 
Use broad understanding of cloud and on premise BI tools to create viable implementations. Ensure best practices are utilized to maximize customer value. He will work directly with stakeholders and team members to define, design and deliver actionable insights while working with ETL developers and BI developers.
 
•              Thorough understanding of BI architectures, techniques, and methodologies
•              Prior experience in BI Transformation journey is desirable
•              Participates in the planning for retirement of systems programs, and migration of systems infrastructure
•              Develop business cases and ROI for department to get buy-in from senior management.
•              Interview stakeholders and develop BI roadmap for success given project prioritization and budget.
•              Evangelize self-service BI and visual discovery while helping to change existing landscape.
•              Experience in opensource and Mongo DB kind of DB/BI transformation
•              12+ years of IT and 6-8+ years of relevant technology architecture consulting or industry experience to include: Analytics + Information Management experience (Business Intelligence Reporting, Data Warehouse/ETL, SQL DB), Data analysis experience with BI tools, Performance tuning of queries and report calculations.
•              Deep understanding of MS and non-Microsoft BI technologies (OBIEE, Cognos, etc).
•              This role requires an organized, strong communicator with a passion for successful outcomes.
