10+ years of experience required.

Extensive experience across Lead Technical Architecture and management roles on varied technology platforms
Well suited for driving / leading technical discussions and steering teams in right direction
Hands on experience on variety of Cloud technologies and services i.e AWS, Docker Container, Kubernetes
Experience on Cloud infrastructure and Application migrations to Cloud
Good communication & leadership skills

Technical/Functional Skills
• Hands-on experience in designing, configuring and managing cloud services in AWS.
• Working knowledge of Cloud automation and provisioning tools.
• Working knowledge of containerization in AWS environment
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong Infrastructure Architecture background and experience with virtualization technologies
• Excellent understanding of security aspects on AWS
• Understanding of the systems architecture, application architecture, high availability, scalable installations and layered security.
• AWS certified Solutions Architect would be a big plus

Experience Required
• Four or more years of hands-on experience designing available, cost efficient, fault tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS
• Experience with deploying hybrid systems with on-premises and AWS components
• Capability to provide best practices for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform
• AWS certified Solutions Architect would be a big plus

Roles & Responsibilities
• Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS
• Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
• Identifying appropriate use of AWS architectural best practices
• Responsible for the availability, security/compliance, backup, and performance of the cloud infrastructure
• Perform system monitoring, diagnose and correct system problems
• Work with Development teams to, identify issues, troubleshoot and make recommendations to resolve application integration issues
• Develop automation routines to effectively automate the deployment of Cloud Services

Generic Managerial Skills
• Manage, Mentors and directs the efforts of more entry-level engineers.
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to plan/track tasks/activities
• Report progress/challenges to Project Manager

Education
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer software field and/or equivalent experience
