Client defined Role Client Services Liaison (CSL)
Main role focus Act as the central contact point between Creative Agencies, Marketing (MIM) and Brand teams, other third party agencies and Technical Agency (Mindtree) and to ensure collaboration across the board for all successful digital deliveries
Explicit stated responsibilities
  • Perform as Client Services Liaison across various programs and initiatives
    • Champion integration opportunities with brands, other agencies, and other 3rd party vendors
    • Participate in Client-defined status discussions
  • Provide strategic and execution oversight of Client's receipt of the Digital Marketing Services
    • Manage relationships with Client and 3rd party vendors to effectively collaborate
  • Support and coordinate digital marketing initiatives
    • Conduct status discussions along with Program Manager/s
    • Provide oversight across technical, digital diagnostic and strategic search Work streams
    • Support development of new processes to support the technical execution of digital initiatives
  • Manage and track hours (budget versus actual)
  • Manage and track project activities and status, including financials
  • Responsible for day to day coordination with onsite Supplier personnel
    • Document functional and process requirements
    • Coordinate tasks and schedules with Supplier, Client digital team and client brand teams, as necessary
    • Facilitate deployment of projects
    • Coordinate, participate, and document notes from meetings
    • Document existing and to-be processes
    • Escalate issues to Supplier's Client Services Liaison Manager(s) as applicable
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks to support overall project (e.g. reporting)
Implicit responsibilities for Role
  • Have twin responsibilities of supporting the Program Manager and championing customer relationships
  • Have the business acumen to find mine for new business opportunities within the account
  • If there be new opportunities, to work with the AM and Pre-Sales team to turn them into new business for Mindtree
  • To have an oversight on ensuring best client interfacing experience with any onsite members
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with agency, third party members and offshore delivery team members
  • Act as a go-to for any functional, process or client-sensitivity related aspect
  • First Mindtree escalation point for any issues from Agency or MI/ Brand side
  • Escalation handling and resolving from agency side
Hard Skillset
  • At least 7+ years' experience in the Digital field with good exposure to WCMS (preferably Sitecore)
  • Act as the Digital Consultant and SME to the client in the Client field
  • Must have had direct experience of client handling, preferably for US Geo
  • Should have played role of Onsite Business Analyst
  • Should have experience in working with Offshore teams and work timings
  • End to end knowledge of Digital Marketing basics and concepts; Multi-site WCMS implementations and Site core in specific
  • Functional knowledge of web-properties in the Digital Marketing world and how they operate;
  • Experience in developing branding, customer acquisition strategy and digital marketing ecosystem strategy and operations
  • Hands-on experience in Digital Marketing Ops process
  • Have overall domain knowledge (Client) and Digital Business knowledge to understand, appreciate and guide client on best practices
  • To be able to coordinate activities with various external agencies (creative agency, other agencies) and facilitate end-delivery for technical team
  • Knowledge of certain key digital web property functionalities like e-com integrations, digital coupons, Ratings/Review, email-campaigns
  • Pre-Sales and Sales Support experience
Soft skillset
  • Proficient business professional who can confidently speak about digital marketing and CMS capabilities
  • High span of comfort – able to connect & collaborate with stakeholders from both business and technology teams
  • Should be confident and collaborative to work with external agencies but bear Mindtree interests as primary and work accordingly
  • Talk non-technical language with Marketing/ branding people but understanding the technical solution need/s
  • Confident individual with good verbal skills
  • TO be able to sense new business opportunities within the account and to mine the opportunities accordingly
  • To be able to promote the Mindtree brand name to external world as being equally comfortable in the technical world as in the digital brand-marketing world
