Responsibilities Include:
  • Implement, maintain and evolve cloud-based products and services
  • Integrate with external customer and 3rd-party systems
  • Perform extensive research and analysis to make optimal architecture and design decisions
  • Write large amounts of code, perform code reviews, write unit tests
  • Write documentation
  • Interface with other groups including Product Management, QA and Operations
  • Create quick proof-of-concept prototypes
  • Participate in scrum team
Experience Requirements:
  • MS, 3+ Years, or BS + 6 Years
  • Experience in server development using Spring Framework and Java EE in AWS
  • Build ETL pipelines for Data Analytics
  • Work with Data Scientist to help build and run new models
  • Expertise in atleast one of the public cloud environment (AWS preffered)
  • Work with Operations team to Innovate terraform scripts
  • Strong skills in one or more of: Java 8, Tomcat, Java EE, Spring Boot
  • Hands-on understanding of scalability and high availability
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and Couchbase
  • Apache, Nginx, HAProxy
  • Expertise in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Perforce, Git
Preferred Experience Requirements:
  • Amazon Web Services
  • REST API Design
  • SOAP
  • Memcached, Redis
  • Jenkins
  • Apache Spark or Storm
