Senior Level SAP HANA Lead: This senior level position is multi-faceted and requires a strong SAP technical and enterprise infrastructure background along with customer consulting and leadership skills.  The role includes hands-on delivery of SAP technical work, project and team leadership, mentoring, direct customer advisory and strategic consulting, offering development of new SAP technical services, research and development, and pre-sales technical support. Having support and implementation experience of 10+ years. Have lead SAP team and also worked client facing. The ideal candidate will have a very strong SAP and enterprise infrastructure technical background, exceptional communication skills at the strategic consultant level, innovation focus and leadership ability.
 
Job description:
  • 10+ years SAP BW, BW on HANA, BW 7.5 and 2+ year on HANA DB.
  • Primary responsibility for the architecture and design of the SAP BW back-end (cubes, Data Stores, transformations, and extractors) and SAP BW front-end (InfoSets, MultiProviders, and BEx queries). This includes the creation and enforcement of SAP BW development standards in accordance with SAP BW recommended practices.
  • Proactively identify potential performance and scalability issues by leveraging SAP BW statistics and by coordinating with SAP Basis, infrastructure, and other integrated components
  • Drive functional and technical design reviews and provide feedback
  • Work closely with SAP developers and functional leads to align business content with business reporting and analytical requirements
  • Provide estimates and follow-up to the SAP BW development process
  • Plans and lead SAP BW deployments (cutovers) in conjunction with the Project Management Office and other SAP functional and technical teams
  • Define the SAP BW transport and release strategies.
  • Design and Deploy robust reporting solution in BW/HANA, requiring integration of data from dual SAP instances.
  • Strong native HANA modeling experience – Authoring Calculation views, SQL Scripting, and SLT replication
  • Good working knowledge and hands on experience on new BW HANA modeling – ADSO, Composite providers, hybrid mixed modeling
  • Experience with the ABAP Programming Language and SQL scripting preferred
  • Must have experience with implementation of FIGL, PCA, CCA, AR, AP reporting in BW
  • Experience with rolling out real-time reporting in BW
  • Experience with BW logistics reporting - Sales Orders, Billing, Delivery, Inventory is a plus
  • Experience with report development in Tableau is a plus.
  • Experience working in large, complex SAP programs
  • Must have very strong demonstrated knowledge of Business Warehouse, Data Concepts, and deploying higher level Business Intelligence solutions
  • Experience with integrating data from multiple SAP ECC sources is a plus
 
 
Support Process Skills:
  • Good Understanding of SAP System Landscape and integration between SAP modules.
  • Should have experience in working in support environment - time bound (SLA based) incident resolutions.
  • Comprehensive Experience of Impact and gap analysis & Corrective action plans to support priority tickets
  • Knowledge of Change Control processes, testing and release documentation
  • Usage of testing and support tools like HPQC ALM, Remedy and SAP Solution Manager – CHARM
  • Collaborate with team members to find solutions for complex problems and promote continuous improvement on services
  • Ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales
  • Ability to multi-task and work on a 24/7 support rotation
  • Capable of taking ownership of tasks from beginning to end
