Project Scope:
Responsible for supporting the Project Manager and project team in managing and executing deliverables associated with a multi-year Project. This project will require strong demonstrated experience in project and program management methodologies.

The project analyst will be functionally responsible for supporting the development, managing and executing overall project plans and controls to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget and quality. Collaborate with various T&D internal and external stakeholder organizations to solicit requirements and develop plans, objectives, and outcomes to satisfy the organization needs. Support the project manager and team with functional responsibilities and deliverables that include:
  • Overall Project Success, Quality and Delivery
  • Project Configuration Management
  • Scope/Schedule/Budget Management
  • Risk Management
  • Resource Management
  • Procurement Management
  • Project Reporting
  • Business and Initiative Integration
  • Operational Support/Readiness
  • Post-Implementation Support (Transition to Operations)

Project Analyst Role and Responsibilities
  1. Gathers, documents, analyzes, and draws conclusions on complex data and information after considering alternatives through independent research and analysis.
  2. Acts as a key resource or consultant to department and division management, customers, and client organization on specific project, program, and functional or strategic issues with moderate to broad impact where subject matter expertise goes beyond established procedures and policies, and requires analysis and decision-making.
  3. Develops and may conduct training for assigned projects and programs.
  4. As an independent analyst or in a lead capacity, plans, develops, and coordinates the design and implementation of large-sized projects or programs.
  5. May manage a key program or project component in support of overall functional and project initiatives.
  6. Prepares detailed and complex analysis and recommendations in support of a major program, project, or business unit and corporate goals after careful consideration of several alternatives developed from independent internal and external research in support of key projects, programs, contracts or business unit goals.
  7. Develops recommendations in support of key strategic initiatives. Develops solutions to problems of major scope and complexity. Develops and makes presentations to department and business unit management, customers, and other interested parties. May provide functional direction to others.
  8. Makes decisions or recommendations as to significant or complex business issues after considering various, independently analyzed alternatives.
