Job Role: Desktop Support Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
Employment: Contract
Clients: Windows7 and Win 10 Enviroment – New PC Refresh, Data transfer, imaging
· Knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM Client ,
- SCCM- Knowledge to update Current PC Images/Drivers
SCCM - Ability to create a packages for system deployment
· ITSM ticketing tools such as Remedy, Client Service Center, client Service Center
· Remote desktop connectivity applications like SMS, , WebEx, Live Meeting, and Windows Native tools
· MS Office Suite 2016/365, One Drive
· Internet browsers (e.g. Explorer, Chrome, Firefox),
· VPN and remote dial-in users
· Support for laptop, desktops, and printers
Assists staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of computers and peripherals within established standards and guidelines
Work remotely and desk side for On site users
Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems
Experience from the desktop environment.
- Up to 75% of the time
- Travel restricted to the continental US
- Travel documents must be retained and recorded timely
- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good documentation skills [B2 LEVEL]
- Should have a great customer handling skills
