Subject Matter Expertise:
• At least 15 yrs of experience in Payments Domain (Canadian) managing designs for payments related projects
• Application Development Tools--Knowledge of a variety of specific tools and toolkits for development and support of applications including Best Practices from a systems development and integration perspective
• Strong background in Solution Design from the perspective of choosing the right systems for the right capabilities.
 Extensive Work Experience:
• System and Technology Integration of payments systems -Knowledge of features and facilities for integration and communication among applications, data bases and technology platforms.
• IT Environment--Knowledge of organization's total Information Technology (IT) environment.
• IT Architecture--Knowledge of concepts, philosophies and tools behind the design of applications, information and underlying information technologies.
• Consulting--Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients within and outside own area.
• Application Delivery Process--Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced applications.
 Responsibilities
1. As a Solutions Architect you will direct the delivery of architecture across multiple business solutions to ensure consistency and alignment with business strategies and enterprise-wide architecture. The Solution architect is required to apply technology standards, architecture principles and guidelines and develop a project architecture solution that meets business requirements, reflects architecture strategy overall portfolio management decisions.
2. They are required to be on time and on budget, meet specified requirements, adhere to compliance regulations, enhance maintainability and reusability, and achieve functional and nonfunctional quality.
3. Provide subject matter expertise on payments specific existing technologies. Manage the ongoing vitality of the technology throughout its lifecycle.
4. Perform evaluation, selection and application of new and emerging tools/systems and techniques and support the development of  business/technology proposals by estimating implementation costs and evaluating options.
5. Evaluate compliance with the organization's technology standards. Analyze market trends and experiences.
6. Influencing--Ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
