 Cloud Security Architect is chiefly responsible for oversight of cloud security architecture, operations and engineer in public cloud computing environments. This person must be able to adapt core security principles, into an enterprise cloud computing model which meets or exceeds corporate, customer, and regulatory security requirements while maintaining business agility and cloud elasticity.  
  • Manages implementation and support of all security controls applicable to public cloud computing environments.
  • Builds and maintains a cloud security program specific to processing sensitive data in secured public cloud computing environments, PCI DSS.. 
  • Maintains a governing role in the security review of all cloud technologies across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. 
  • Ensures consistent deployment and management of technical cloud security controls through the use of modern automation solutions. 
  • Deploys solutions to automate discovery and compliance assessment for all cloud resources.
  • Provides subject matter expertise for securing all IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. 
  • Engages directly with auditors for review of CoreLogic cloud computing environments. 
  • Cost management for cloud security program
  • From time to time, conducts proof of concept lab tests for new security solutions. 
Knowledge and Skills
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.  
  • Typically has 5+ years information security experience. 
  • Must have 2+ years of direct experience security AWS environments (200+ EC2 instances) or equivalent. 
  • Must have experience with enterprise encryption and key management solutions and practices. 
  • Automation and scripting experience specifically with SOAP or REST based API interfaces a plus.     
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills: ability to lead discussions with Information Security and other IT groups as well as to produce clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Must be able to lead executive and customer discussions around cloud security program and status. 
  • Must have hands on working knowledge of Linux and Windows administration including server hardening, and scripting and automation.
