Location - San Diego, CA 92121 Duration - 6+ Months (Temp to Hire) Shift - 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (M-F)
Qualifications: · This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend and perform a variety of basic No-destructive Inspection activities, and methods, to assist with a wide variety of parts, assemblies, tooling fixtures and materials to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company specifications and quality requirements. · This position typically requires an associate's degree, Trade School certification, Military Training, or equivalent. · NDT theory and techniques (preferred) · Computer skills (required) · Familiar with Non-Destructive Testing Methods, Theories and Techniques · Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of metallic parts · Aerospace Industry Experience · Experience in manufacturing, military or trade school certification (preferred) · Hand tools, manufacturing machinery and equipment (preferred). · Time management skills · Detail-oriented · Ability and willingness to follow instructions · Attendance and punctuality · Possible Future Positions: NDT II
Responsibilities: · Learn foundational theory of Non-destructive Inspection and preparing parts for inspection, equipment setup and calibration, compiling inspection data for reporting and statistics, and performing inspections · Under direct observation of NDT level 2 or 3 certified personnel, the individual performs inspections by methods in which they are preparing for Level 2 certification. · All other duties assigned · Work as scheduled, on time and every day. · Observe the "Three Circles " with particular focus on Chromalloy Values. · Adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures | ||||||||
