Job Description:
The client is looking for a Program Manager to support and drive programs or projects, particularly within the software industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage program requirements, plans, timelines, issues, risks, and challenges.
- Support managers in driving programs or projects.
- Work closely with program/process owners, stakeholders, and business partners to identify business changes and drive consensus for a manageable change strategy.
- Manage programs and projects involving multiple parties/organizations with conflicting agendas and business priorities.
- Lead cross-organization project teams towards targeted and scheduled outcomes.
- Engage with program/process owners, stakeholders, and business partners to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of program management experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Industry Knowledge: Background in software industry products/services/applications, with a preference for in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's products/services/applications.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong cross-team/group/organization collaboration skills.
- Risk Management: Ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plans, and mitigate subsequent issues.
- Analytical Skills: High-powered analytical skills and the ability to understand complex concepts and situations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills at all levels, experience working with external vendors.
- Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, strong leadership skills, and demonstrated experience managing programs with varying degrees of complexity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
