SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses; performing required health assessments for specified programs; conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing spirometry testing or audiometric testing; maintaining OSHA state and employee health records; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs; assisting with health promotion education and training programs; identifying and assisting with workers compensation cases; assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Completion of a registered nursing program required. Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required. Experience: 1 plus years experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system. Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills. Travel: Occasional travel to local clinic hospital. | ||||||
