LPNs at Manhattan Psychiatric Center, under the direction of a Registered Nurse are:

Performing nursing care tasks consistent with individual treatment plans

Administering Medication

Attend to individuals' personal care needs including daily living and hygiene tasks

Collect blood samples

Observe patients and report changes in their condition;

Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure;

Obtain specimens for analysis and perform other medical procedures as ordered by a physician.
