Coxsackie Correctional Facility is seeking the services of one physical therapist for its medical unit. This medical unit is located inside the correctional facility and will therefore involve treatment of incarcerated individuals.

The successful candidate must possess a valid degree and required New York State licensure. Current resume(s) must be submitted with the bid. Background check and fingerprinting will be required before work schedule commences.

Duties to be performed include: planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury; determining medical necessity for, and completing requests for, medical equipment and supplies; maintaining provider manuals; recommending and assisting in obtaining other services or equipment as deemed necessary.
