Position Details: The Software Engineer will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and refactoring software components for our cutting-edge medical devices across desktop, web, and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain software solutions for medical devices across desktop, web, and cloud environments. · Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions. · Refactor and optimize existing code to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability. · Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. · Monitor software for bugs and issues, promptly addressing and resolving them. · Document code consistently throughout the development process. · Stay updated with the latest industry trends, development methodologies, and tools to ensure our software remains cutting-edge. · Provide mentoring to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. · Adhere to and advocate for software development best practices and standards, ensuring our products meet the highest quality. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree and 10yrs or Master's degree and 7yrs of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. · Extensive software development experience, with a strong emphasis on medical device software or regulated fields. · Proficiency in C#, .NET, WPF required · Python, SQL, MongoDB, Typescript, React, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs – a plus · Required proficiency in unit testing frameworks like NUnit, PyUnit, etc. · Experience with static code analysis tools like SonarQube a plus · Experience with CI/CD a plus · Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. · A keen understanding of software security best practices, especially in a healthcare setting. · Knowledge of FDA regulations and standards related to medical device software development will be an advantage. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. | ||||||||
