HR Assistant
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension and FTE
Location: Battle Creek, MI 49014
Shift: Monday- Friday 2nd shift 04:00 PM-- 12:00 AM (overtimes required) This is an On-site position. While training, hours will be 8-5

Job Description:
  • Assist with plant scheduling.
  • Assist managing hourly workforce,
  • job bid and training process.
  • Assist in tracking, reporting, and analyzing attendance and labor metrics.
  • Audit employee records for accuracy.
  • Assist with planning plant engagement activities, updating employee files etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:
  • Must be knowledgeable of HR practices.
  • Have extensive knowledge of software applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Be proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, general math, oral communication, and general computer skills.
  • Exercise good judgment, discretion, accuracy, organizational ability, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision 6. Excellent project and time management skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience HR Generalist/Scheduler
  • Must be knowledgeable of HR practices.
  • Assist with plant scheduling & managing hourly workforce, job bid and training process.
  • This is an On-site position. While training, hours will be 8-5
Education:
  • HS Diploma
