Description:
- The Project Manager is responsible for cost, quality, and timing for Propulsion Systems Testing and Analysis capital investment projects.
- The Project Manager will prepare management level status reports, manage risk, resolve program issues, track and control project spending.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Lead a cross functional team for the successful execution of Propulsion Systems Testing and Analysis projects
- Assess and manage the interdependencies of the project
- Chair regular project status meetings
- Manage project risks
- Monitor and regularly provide management both verbal and written updates of the budget and timing status, risks, and issues of the project as appropriate
- Work closely with the project teams to remove roadblocks, provide guidance on issues, and develop recovery plans
- Upon completion of projects, ensure any lessons learned are reviewed/captured in order to improve future project execution
- Escalate issues to management as needed
- Ensure that all environmental, health, and safety requirements are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related degree
- 3+ years of experience in project/program management with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Experienced with MS Office applications including project
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Project
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience managing large/complex projects
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or other training equivalent
- Experience working with product testing in laboratory or manufacturing environments
- Experience with the planning and execution of large capital improvement projects
Additional Must Haves:
- Location: CTC, Auburn Hills – Onsite/Remote Hybrid
- No Driving of Stellantis vehicle
