Position Description:
  • Develops and integrates IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards, applying standard architectures/patterns, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements.
  • Leads Sub-Epics/User Stories within a product team including development, integration of software and/or technologies, enhancements, implementation and/or support
  • Collaborates with System Designer/Analysts, Architects and Developers to establish the physical application framework (e.g. libraries, reuse modules, development environments)
  • Develops and executes any and all tests to validate that application modules meet technical specifications Participates in technical inspections at appropriate stages of development
  • Creates production support documentation
  • Works with Operations Analysts, System Designer/Analysts and other developers to prepare and stage production builds, and verify production releases meet technical and business expectations
  • Works as a Product Team member and performs any task needed (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, verification, support)
  • On-call support duties, as needed

Education / Certification: 
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or related discipline
  • Completed advanced education/training or gained experience in at least one development environment
  • Training in Agile Practices
Experiences: 
  • 4+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT with at least 3 years
  • Experience in mainstream development environments
  • Contribution to multiple projects in more than one development environment
  • Understanding of current system environments, their main features, limitations and performance characteristics
  • Hands-on experience in multiple roles across the spectrum of the lifecycle of applications and/or technologies

Experience Required:
  • Development Experience Communication/interpersonal skills Agile Knowledge/Experience

Experience Preferred:
  • Experience/Understanding of Manufacturing
  • Experience/Understanding of Assembly Plant Floor Systems

Education Required:
  • Computer Science or Related or equivalent experience
