Position Description:
Function as implementation lead for Plant Floor Systems New Model program deployment for one or more new model programs at V.O. N.A. Assembly Plants . Provide day-to-day management of assigned NMP implementations . At initiation of program, gather customer systems requirements and assess impact to Plant Floor Systems for NMP implementation. Prepare Project Charter document and obtain key stakeholder buy-in . Develop and maintain work plans for deliverables . Prepare RFQ"s for hardware installation and third party controls integration. . Establish and maintain Change Request process for incremental requirements throughout the life of the project . Report out on project status at weekly status meetings with program management team . Represent IT at various meetings with VO customers . Manage daily work assignments for between one and ten and/or agency controls engineers . Coordinate physical installation of hardware and equipment with third party vendors or plant trades . Support IPI involvement in key GPDS events such as TTO, TT, PP, MP1, and MP2 build events. Determine resource levels and manning patterns required to successfully support these events. . Follow-up on open issues and resolution. . Track project financials . Conduct project closure with key stakeholder and transition plant to on-going application support activity. . Maintain program documentation in SharePoint site Note: Although this position is based in iTek in Dearborn, considerable travel will be required to the assigned Vehicle Assembly Plant in N.A.

Experience Preferred:
* Prior experience with Clarity . Must to able to travel and be willing to spend extended periods of time on site at plant locations (U.S., Canada, Mexico) . Physically able to work for long hours on the plant floor including climbing stairs/ladders to overhead mezzanines, etc., where equipment may be located . Willing to work overtime (as required), including weekends and off-shift hours to meet plant support needs . Must be able to legally work in the United States. Must be able to legally obtain visas or work permits to travel to and work in Canada and Mexico.

Education Required:
B.S. in Electrical or Industrial Engineering with emphasis on Computer Systems or Manufacturing or B.S. in Computer Science with emphasis on Manufacturing or Engineering preferred. Business degree with equivalent manufacturing experience also considered. Significant applicable experience would be considered in lieu of a degree.
