Interview Mode – Face to Face Interview needed.
Location: Dover, NH
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
Rate: $Market/hr on W2 All Inc.
 
Must haves:
  • Servant Leadership, ability to drive projects and keep teams on pace with their releases, ability to talk with senior leaders,
  • 5+ years of actual Scrum Master experience (not just a certification and doing Project Management work), ability to work with many other Scrum Masters, willingness to learn and not try to be the "smartest person in the room”, basically needing an experience, humble, scrum master with no ego.
  • Need to have Insurance or Financial Service experience
  • Experience supporting multiple different scrum teams (not just 1)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (but primarily agile)
  • Ability to coach from behind (they don't want things to be called out in the middle of a stand up for coaching points, but rather the ability to pull someone aside and provide suggestions)
  • Scrum Master certified
Nice to haves:
  • Merger & Acquisition experience
  • Team coach certification (CTC)
Project Details: Our client is in the process of integrating the two companies and have over 12 different work streams that will get the integration done successfully. They have all of their Program Managers hired as well as their Project coordinators. Currently in process of hiring all their Business Analysts and will need Scrum Masters to run their projects in Agile.
 
Summary:

They will primarily be acting as a scrum master, running sprints, doing sprint reviews, sprint planning, acting as a servant leader to their agile team (will consist of business analysts, quality assurance analysts, program/product manager, and developer). Although projects are primarily run in scrum methodology there are still some traditional waterfall practices that they may have to participate in, so willingness and ability to participate in that is necessary.
