Job Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel diagnosing and troubleshooting computer systems, complex software, and networked/wireless systems. This role responds to escalated cases where first-line product support has been unable to isolate or resolve issues in malfunctioning equipment or software, and reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems to design/software engineering teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Customer Advocate, providing support to users and administrators of the platform
• Understand the platform, cloud technologies, and troubleshooting practices to ensure successful resolution of complex technical issues
• Resolve technical cases submitted by customers seeking help with unexpected behaviors or technical questions about the software and platform
• Develop a strong understanding of the platform's core functionality
• Analyze data to isolate the root cause of reported issues
• Collaborate with team members to accomplish individual and group goals

• Web Services (SOAP/REST) – hands-on troubleshooting experience
• Networking fundamentals
• Scripting and familiarity with at least one programming language
• Relational database concepts (e.g., MySQL, Oracle)
• Nice-to-Have / Trainable Skills:
• SSO and Authentication (LDAP, Active Directory)
• Email protocols and servers (Office 365, Exchange)
