Location:-Greene Correctional Facility, 165 Plank Rd, Coxsackie (Greene County), NY 12051 Duration:-2 years Job description:- The New York State Dept. of Corrections and Community Supervision is seeking the services of one speech pathologist at Greene Correctional Facility in Greene County, NY. This will be a per diem position as services are needed. The successful candidate must possess a valid degree and required New York State licensure. It is strongly recommended that *current resume(s) be submitted with the bid. Background check and fingerprinting will be required before work schedule commences. Duties to be performed include: Assessing and treating persons with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs Recommending and assisting in obtaining other services as deemed necessary May need to perform special education assessments and present findings to a Committee on Special Education May select and recommend alternative communication systems and teach their use May perform research related to speech and language problems and present results of such research | ||||||||
