Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) 
Shift -  Night 3x12-Hour
Location - Levelland, TX 79336

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our Short Term Acute Care facility. The nurse will float between units as needed, providing high-quality patient care with a focus on labor and delivery. This position includes weekend shifts and requires the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery, assisting with labor support, delivery care, and postpartum needs.

• Float between units based on unit needs (L&D/Mother-Baby/Transition areas).

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal status, interpreting clinical data and vital signs.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members.

• AInitiate appropriate nursing interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.

• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

• Educate patients and families regarding labor progress, postpartum care, and newborn care.

• Maintain safety and infection control standards at all times.
