Position: Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care
Location: Syracuse, NY (750 E Adams St)
Shift: Days – 5x8s (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 03/13/2026 (Must start on a Friday)
COVID/Flu Vaccine: Not required

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile

✅ Required Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years recent (within last 2 years) acute care experience

• Ambulatory + surgical background

• Strong exposure to:

  • Burn

  • Colorectal

  • Thoracic

  • General Surgery

  • Trauma

• Must have worked in equal or larger size hospital / trauma center

• Comfortable functioning with minimal orientation

✅ Clinical Strengths

• Strong nursing assessment skills

• Acute care competency

• Triage experience preferred

• Telemetry experience preferred

• Ambulatory/Primary Care background preferred

• Surgical clinic workflow familiarity

• Medical coding / insurance review exposure (nice to have)

📜 Certifications

Required:

• Active New York RN License

• BLS (must be current)

Preferred (if specialty requires):

• ACLS

• PALS

• TNCC

• ENPC

• EFM

• NNLS

💻 EMR

• EPIC preferred
