Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (RN-MS)
Location: Aiken, SC 29801
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (3 nights/week on 5M Cardiac)
Contract Duration:13 weeks

Job Summary: The RN-MS delivers high-quality patient care in a competent, efficient, and compassionate manner. The nurse performs a variety of clinical tasks and patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certifications, training, and regulatory requirements. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing patient care for medical/surgical patients, with attention to individual needs and age-appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to assigned patients, including admission and ongoing assessments.
Perform initial and continuous evaluations, obtaining and interpreting patient information.
Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, and efficient manner.
Apply knowledge of growth and development to ensure age-appropriate care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Demonstrate understanding of required treatments and procedures for assigned patients.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications Required:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
Cerner EHR experience
NIHSS, BLS & ACLS certification
CPI/NCI Advanced Physical Skills Training
Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility
