Job Type: 13-Week Contract

Schedule:

• Shift: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts
• Hours per Week: 40 Hours
• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Shift Days: Monday to Friday

Position Requirements:

• Candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation or acute care experience (Required)
• Degree in Physical Therapy (Required)
• Active PT License (Required)
• State Licensure (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• Crisis Prevention Training (TEAM) required within 6 months of hire (PRN – Not Applicable)
• Primary Source Online Verification (Required)

Job Description:

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist provides high-quality physical therapy services through comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, and administration of care to patients. Responsibilities include performing detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs following physician referral, and developing comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care based on evaluation findings.

The Physical Therapist must accurately and appropriately document all patient treatments and progress. The ability to respond effectively to new and changing work assignments is essential.
