Hours: Estimated from 8am-5pm, Monday through Thursday (32 hours per week)
Location: Executive Department, Community Transit, Everett, WA (in-person)
 
Summary:
  • As an Office Assistant in the Executive Department, you will greet department visitors and perform a variety of office support activities. This includes preparing documents, assisting with scheduling, maintaining, organization and processing files, and other related tasks.
 
Minimal Qualification
  • 2+ years of experience as a receptionist or office assistant and preferably assisting executive leadership.
  • 2+ years of general office experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using Outlook, Word, and Excel.
 
Tasks:
  • Provides general administrative support to the Executive Department/Office of the CEO.
  • Provides handling of communications (phone, email, and mail).
  • Updates and maintains activity/document logs and trackers.
  • May arrange for travel, provide scheduling assistance and process purchases.
  • Supports meeting preparation, technology, and logistics, and coordinates special events and projects.
  • Performs general administrative tasks for the department. This includes data entry, word processing,
  • records reconciliation and management, including confidential records and information. Provides
  • administrative support for department projects.
  • Prepares documents, maintains filing systems, scans and organizes department materials and records.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature.
