Location: Dearborn, MI | 48124
Duration: 6+ Months contract with possibility of extension and FTE
Shift: M-F OT when needed( 7Am- 3:30Pm)

Job Summary:
  • The Prototype Project Coordinator II will work through issue resolution, status updates, and overall timing.
  • The role will maintain budget, track expenditures, transactions and ensure project functions.
  • The role will support project growth and development and corroborate deliverables.
  • The Prototype Project Coordinator II will mentor and oversee team members' deliverables to ensure and customer standards are met.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate office and shop activity and relay customer expectations.
  • Assist the Project Manager in activities including timing, budgets, quality, and material management.
  • Direct and coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors.
  • Develop and execute small project plans.
  • Complete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables.
  • Collect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to compile reports.
  • Review project status daily and report percentage of completion.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 
Education and Experience (required):
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of coordination experience or 3 years of skilled trade experience.
 
Education and Experience (preferred):
 
  • Associate degree in Business or related.
 
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):
Excellent customer service skills, very detail oriented, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with different cross functional teams.
  • Ability to follow directions and multi-task.
  • Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
