Job Summary
CDK Global is seeking an experienced Salesforce Billing and Revenue Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable billing and revenue solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Salesforce development and hands-on experience implementing Salesforce CPQ and Billing to optimize Lead-to-Cash processes.
This is a 100% remote role, but candidates must be available to work during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce Billing solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.
• Customize and integrate Salesforce Billing across multiple cloud ecosystems to support usage-based and recurring billing, invoice generation, and revenue management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, IT) to gather business requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Integrate Salesforce Billing with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and payment gateways.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and support Accounts Receivable and revenue recognition processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including data models, process flows, and integration specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing workflows, data integrity, and system performance.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and recommend process or system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning, SOQL, declarative tools).
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
• Strong understanding of Lead-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition processes.
• Experience with ERP integrations and financial systems.
• Familiarity with revenue compliance standards (ASC 606).
• Salesforce Certifications (Platform Developer I/II, CPQ Specialist, Billing Specialist) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Knowledge of SaaS billing models (recurring, subscription, usage-based).
• Familiarity with middleware/integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
• Understanding of RCA and Lead-to-Case tools.
