Title: Ultrasound Technologist.
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x7-hour shifts)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following established departmental protocols.
• Operate, adjust, clean, and perform minor maintenance on ultrasound equipment while ensuring safety precautions for patients and staff.
• Assist radiologists by providing technical support during examinations.
• Capture and transfer ultrasound images to PACS for physician review.
• Ensure adequate ultrasound supplies are stocked and available.
• Assist in orienting and mentoring new ultrasound personnel.
• Handle scheduling, patient transportation coordination, and answer phone inquiries as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain smooth workflow in the radiology department.

Required / Preferred Skills & Information:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of office/administrative practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• ARRT certification required.
