Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in New York, NY. This temporary position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care and support clinical operations in a dynamic medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Assist in preparing patients for examinations, take vital signs, and perform basic laboratory tests.

• Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle phone inquiries.

• Patient Interaction: Provide information to patients regarding procedures and assist with follow-up care.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

• Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Skills: Proficiency in medical terminology, excellent communication abilities, and strong organizational skills.

• Experience: Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
