Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science (BSN) or higher degree in nursing. Experience with communicable disease and/or outbreak response and control activities. Experience administering vaccines to children, including familiarity with the ACIP vaccination schedules. Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize workload; competence with Microsoft Word; ability to use web-based computer systems; experience and strong comfort level communicating with health care providers. Job Description: • Ensure compliance with requirements related to the Vaccines for Children Program • Assess viability of vaccines stored improperly • Provide technical assistance to providers • Provide clinical support to the School Unit by evaluating medical exemptions Additional Information: There is current an incumbent with this position Current pay rate is $87.98 | ||||||
