Staff Accountant

Duration: 3+ Months contract with possibility of extension or FTE

Location: Camden, NJ 08102

Work hours: Standard hour shift M-F

Job Description:

• To assist backlog of processing and clearing errored retirements in fixed asset system.
• Assist with recording month end journal entries, gathering data for year-end audit requests, and ensuring movement of fixed asset workorders through general ledger accounts.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 2–4-year accounting experience.
• Detail oriented with the ability to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to assess problems, resolve or escalate issues as necessary, strong problem solving and planning skills, ability to multitask.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/EDUCATION:

• College degree in accounting preferred.
