Job Description:

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE II
Overview
Accounting Associate II reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for handling the following processes in accordance with Uptime Support policies.

Responsibilities:
1) Process cases in ASIST to accurately execute the AP and AR processes at an event level. This includes, but is not limited to:
2) Responsible for accurately answering customer and vendor calls through research of information from various sources.
3) Develops and maintains working relationships with appropriate individuals or groups and utilizes these relationships to ensure success in the daily activities.
4) Perform duties as defined in ISO desk procedures.
5) Perform duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

a) AP Functions:
i) Attach vendor invoices to the cases and/or verify vendor invoices are attached correctly.
ii) Key invoices into ASIST.
iii) Validate vendor invoices for payment.
iv) Obtain Vendor W-9 Forms when appropriate.
v) Create, document, and communicate payment to the vendor.
vi) Research discrepancies as needed.

b) AR Functions:
i) Review services rendered for warranty coverage
ii) Compile the Customer Invoice, ensuring the event is in-balance.
iii) Notify customers of balances due and process payments when received.
iv) Refund customers for any overages paid toward the event

Education/Experience:
1. High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Must be a team player.
3. Two or more years of AP and AR experience preferred as well as the ability to seamlessly alternate between the two as needed.
4. Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
5. Must have strong communication skills, written and oral.
6. Must be multi-task oriented.
7. Must have a credit check on-file.
