Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is driving the next wave of growth for Microsoft Gaming via targeting New-to-Xbox audience with our Mobile and Cloud Gaming solutions.

• Key projects: This role will contribute to strategic cloud gaming partner management and cloud gaming funnel conversion improvements.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 50% day to day partner management/enablement and strategy development; 50% cloud gaming funnel conversion analytic and improvement.

Summary:

This position is part of the Xbox Gaming Emerging Endpoints Product Marketing team focus on driving the next wave of growth for Microsoft Gaming via targeting New-to-Xbox audience with our Mobile and Cloud Gaming solutions.

The role focuses on managing strategic partnerships with established major partners in the technology industry for our cloud gaming offering, aiming to deepen and expand opportunities with existing partners while evaluating these opportunities against strategic goals. Key responsibilities include leading partner onboarding, education, and expectation management, driving new business initiatives, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives through program management related to go-to-market (GTM) and partner relationships. The role also involves campaign management, tracking deliverables, coordinating internal approvals, and maintaining high-level roadmaps of partnerships and activations. Additionally, the position requires refining processes, creating process guides, and establishing metrics and OKRs for evaluating partner success. Another key part of the job is subscription funnel analytics to drive recommendations and improvements for the cloud gaming funnel.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Gaming Funnel Analysis and Conversion Improvement Strategy

2. Strategic Partner Management: Manage relationships with established brands, educate and onboard partners, and identify depth and expansion opportunities.

3. Program Management (GTM): Lead calls, manage project statuses, set program expectations, and facilitate cross-team introductions.

4. Campaign Program Management: Track deliverables, execute campaigns, manage reviews, and handle day-to-day partner communications.

5. Project Reporting: Maintain strategic partnership roadmaps, recap executed programs with success metrics.

6. Strategic Title Alignment Process: Match partners' target market motivations with appropriate game titles, tailoring creative strategies to resonate with gamers.

7. Process Leadership: Innovate and document processes, create guides, and establish best practices.

8. Reporting, Metrics, OKR: Define OKRs, maintain reporting on campaigns, and evaluate success against strategic goals.
