Job Description/Duties
The quality assurance specialist is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected. This person will work collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements. Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. Plan and execute regression testing as required. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other internal and / or external systems. Qualifications/Skills • Sound experience in software development • Strong work experience in software quality assurance • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases • Hands-on experience with regression and acceptance testing • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Good experience with automated testing tools • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus • Familiarity with JIRA and GITHUB is a plus • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating systems • Education: Bachelor's Degree | ||||||
