Instructional Designer Responsibilities for this job function include: Conduct training needs analysis Write ID plans, reports, status updates Collect content Design learning and performance support solutions *Experienced in design for CBT/WBT (computer based training/web based training) training programs Develop learning and performance support solutions *Experience working with CBT/WBT developers & IT personnel o Coordinate with authors (CBT/WBT and other instructional designers) Write course descriptions, announcements and marketing content o Plan and monitor ID methodology and delivery methodology with customer and team Collaborate with training project manager on ID output review Outputs: *Curriculum outlines and descriptions *Training programs *Workbooks, manuals, job aids, teaching aids and other print media *Train the trainer materials and aids *Coaching kits *Assessments and evaluations *Storyboards for CBT/WBT (computer based training/web based training) *Learning Games/Activities *Course descriptions *ID templates *ID methodology standards (prefer some experience with Flash and other elearning authoring tools) 7-9 years experience of training/instructional design or related experience.
The candidate will start as soon as selected and has cleared onboarding. Perform analysis for Instructional Design: Interview clients for skill requirements of new request and Identify instructional problems. Design learning assets: PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Word, Articulate. Develop illustrations, graphics and development of animations, and Computer Based Training. Develop assets under manager's guidance: Develop and update service training instructor-led classroom materials, including facilitator/participant guide, job aids, PPT slides, etc. Create storyboards and build CBTs. Be able to develop new CBTs and modify existing CBT templates to improve learning. Develop WebEx virtual training program, mobile learning, and eLearning modules for i-pad as directed by global service training needs. Support change control by initiating change packages and transform courses or learning units. Work closely with team to publish CBT files and training documents. Be able to filter/analyze content from huge amount of information and identify need-to-know vs. nice-to-know by applying systematic Instructional Design Must be able to think clearly, write concisely and have effective communication skills. Excellent knowledge of adult learning principles. Medical Technology background desired. Technical training mindset. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or certification in in Education, Instructional Design; Instructional Technology; Training and Development or related fields. Must be able to think clearly with technical mind, write concisely and have effective communication skills. Demonstrate ability to produce great graphics, animations, eLearning, and mobile learning for effective learning tools. Knowledge of adult learning principles. Be proficient with developing e-Learning technologies. Must have experience with FrameMaker, Abode InDesign, and Captivate 7 or 9. Must have at least 7 years of relevant experience.
