Urgent need for one of our clients in Jeffersonville, Indiana for a Sr. Project Manager

Description:

The Sr. Project Manager manages and coordinates all aspects of customer programs while achieving operational and financial targets. This manager will typically be assigned larger, more complex client accounts. He/she will be assigned multiple accounts along with Jr level Project Assistants to support the successful execution of programs. He/she will typically navigate at a higher level of executive management with the client as well as internally.

Responsibilties:
  • Assemble, develop, maintain and train the highest quality project team.
  • Develop and maintain the highest customer satisfaction throughout the project cycle.
  • Responsible for proper project communications including but not limited to; clients, RFP's, architects, designers, GC's, sales and marketing, manufacturing, installers, subcontractors, vendors and inter-company divisions.
  • Proper coordination and distribution of project information to the project team and client; financial data, product quality guidelines, Project Plan schedules, and maintenance of client contract documentation.
  • Proper utilization of the Project Launch process and client's Operational Fundamentals to ensure success of the project cycle.
  • Co-ordinate and manage all phases of the project/program, including R.F.P., order confirmations, sales orders, detailing, purchasing, production, delivery and installation
  • Review and approve all design/detail architectural fixture drawings prior to release to customer.
  • Actively manage customer inventories, re-orders and obsolete/surplus materials.
  • Support estimating and costing of programs, including the principal oversight of participation in cost reduction (Value Engineering) programs.
  • Manage revenue and gross margin growth in partnership with Sales and Operations.
  • Monthly Sales Forecasting for assigned accounts required.
  • Low to medium travel required to other client's divisions and vendors is required. International travel is possible.
  • Possess exemplary skills (written and verbal) to effectively communicate at all levels of Management.
  • Possess the experience and knowledge to require minimal executive oversight and/or supervision.
  • Knowledgeable of competitor's capabilities, capacities, core competencies and weaknesses.
  • Knowledgeable of all of client's division's capabilities, capacities, core competencies and weaknesses – and have the ability to effectively communicate these to the client to promote client (employer).
  • Possess the ability to navigate and manage successfully in a multi-facility program management atmosphere.
  • Ability to interpret, create and administer contractual language in the processing of RFI's and RFP's.
  • Ability to travel solo (including internationally) to clients, vendors, jobsites and partner divisions to professionally represent and make competent decisions that benefit client (employer).
  • Experienced to assume fiduciary responsibility – negotiate pricing and contractual language with clients, oversee overall profitability of programs.
  • Ability to effectively direct support teams in the division, multi-division or remotely.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of all disciplines within the division and corporation to communicate effectively with clients and work partners; Finance, Procurement, Materials, Production, Engineering, VE, Logistics, Packaging, etc.

Qualifications and Academic Preferences:
  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven successful senior level project management experience in store fixture or related industry with involvement in operational functions preferred.
  • Experience in wood/metal/acrylic manufacturing environment.
  • Architectural/Interior Design technical knowledge expertise is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and/or good computer skills
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Focus.
  • Working Industry knowledge.
  • Extensive history successful supporting of customer initiatives with a proven track record of attaining high level of client satisfaction.
  • High level of technical expertise including the ability to champion and enhance new design and value engineering efforts.

Office working environment with exposure to manufacturing metal shop and wood shop.
