Level BSc +3 years, or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related, with 3+ years demonstrated experience developing and testing onboard, real-time software for Unmanned Vehicles, Robotics, or other automated systems
Location Woburn, MA
  • Work as part of a team to design, implement, and test autonomy, robotics, AI, and machine learning software systems for unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAVs)
  • Support research engineers/scientists in the development of algorithms and software modules for prototype unmanned aerial, surface, undersea, and ground vehicles
  • Support software development, integration and field test as part of advanced concepts and technology development programs
Required Skills/Experience
  • Experience implementing and testing Autonomy, Robotics, AI or Machine Learning algorithms on real-time prototypes
  • Proficiency with C/C++, Linux build systems, standard software engineering practices (version control, bug tracking, unit testing)
  • Proficiency with standard libraries used for AI, robotics, computer vision, and machine learning (e.g., ROS, OpenCV, MOOS)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills/Experience
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, Computer-aided Software Engineering (autocode), and collaborative software development tools desirable
  • Background in Autonomy, Robotics, or Cognitive Systems with technology focus in AI, Robotics, Machine Learning, and/or Autonomous Unmanned Systems
