Position description

role
The Sr. Digital Strategist/Program Manager is assigned to lead complex engagements requiring a specific area of digital expertise and act as the primary point-of-contact with the Client and internal team from beginning to end. This individual has the responsibility of identifying digital opportunities and preparing recommendations for digital solutions. This individual is responsible for owning the client relationship in regards to all digital work. Candidates for this position should thrive on helping clients realize their digital goals and bringing a vision to life.

essential functions
  • Maintain a strong, day-to-day relationship with Client, leading and overseeing projects and, in the case of digital-only accounts, overseeing and growing the account.
  • Support the Brand Management team in annual planning and ongoing client education including the ideation, writing and presentation of POVs, best practices, digital trends, and recommendations.
  • Drive internal as well as client discussions about digital initiatives (website, landing pages, apps/applications, email, SEO) to meet their business or marketing needs. This includes leading client discovery sessions, input calls and follow-up sessions as well internal brainstorming and kick-off meetings.
  • Define digital programs recommendations and develop various presentation materials and project documentation (including strategy briefs, workflows, sitemaps, wireframes, business
  • Responsible for developing creative and project briefs.
  • Working with the Brand Management and Brand Insights teams, fuel creative ideation and concept development with relevant digital, historical and consumer behavior insights
  • Work with Brand management, Media & Analytics and Client to establish digital KPI's that align with client business/marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with Media & Analytics team on the creation of ongoing/regular/ad-hoc reports. Specific contributions include finding insights in program data, developing and writing recommendations, and presenting findings to the client.
  • Participate in new business opportunities as assigned by supervisor. Specific role to be determined by new business lead but may include any or all of the same responsibilities as client/project assignments.
  • Work closely with project managers to provide direction and guidance to ensure that the project delivers against the approved strategic goals, project requirements and that program success is measured against defined KPIs
  • Ensure that projects are being managed to budget. This includes regular review of costs-to-date, identification of risks and issues, team communication and issue resolution.
  • Develops proposals/SOWs/estimates.
  • Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and execute discovery sessions and client workshops.
  • Produce specific deliverables as required (wireframes, sitemaps, roadmaps, strategies, plans) alone or in conjunction with other team members.
  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project management tasks or performs project management tasks on small and mid-size projects.
  • Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and client project status meetings.
  • Review and provide input on deliverables, ensuring alignment to goals and quality standards.
  • Ensure client business goals are being met.
  • Keep internal Brand Management team informed throughout course of assignment.
  • Contributes to or own status reports/participates in status meetings.
  • Manage, control and communicates change in project scope & timing to internal Brand Management team and Client
  • Financial management (in-project financial management, forecasts, invoices, budgets).
  • Stay on top of industry trends in order to shape opportunities for clients.

education
  • Bachelor's degree


experience
  • 5+ years of account/project management experience with a specialty in interactive/digital programs
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire others
  • Is collaborative and enjoys the creative process
  • Possesses confidence and authority in client setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; verbal and written
  • Impeccable organizational skills, thrives in a fast paced environment, great at managing details and multiple things at once.
  • Financial management experience
