Banking Business Analyst needed in Charlotte!

Seeking a Business Analyst in Charlotte, NC!
Responsibilities
  • · Act as a liaison between business, technology, domain service teams and external vendors by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems.
  • · Partner with business owners, technology, domain service teams and external vendors to define functional specifications that meet business requirements.
  • · Determine gaps between business needs and current offerings and work with the team to recommend efficient and effective long-term solutions.
  • · Create materials to represent information in a variety of mediums including functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, data mapping, and requirement traceability matrix.
  • · Work with Domain Service teams to calculate peak volume numbers/transactions to determine performance feasibility
  • · Work with ADA experts to capture Accessibility Requirements
  • · Work with Business to analyze and build tracking mechanisms like Omniture tags
  • · Create project plans, timelines and deliverables to ensure coordination between various teams and timely deliverables.
  • · Conduct and direct Release and Implementation Planning sessions to ensure successful product delivery.
  • · Coordinate testing process to validate requirements.
  • · Participate in Post deployment IT Validations

Requirements
  • · Bachelor's level degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Software Information Systems.
  • · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • · Strong research skills with attention to detail.
  • · Experienced developing functional and non-functional requirements.
  • · Highly organized and flexible.
  • · Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • · Understanding of content management systems. SDL Web (formerly Tridion) a plus.
  • · Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and align with the team to determine quick solutions.
  • · Financial Industry/Brokerage experience preferred.
  • · Agile scrum experience preferred.
  • · Web Development experience preferred. Understanding concepts such as responsive design, wireframes, visual Design, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript, MeqiaQuery.
  • · Understanding of Services Integration and the value of a Service Oriented Architecture
  • · Ability to understand system integration and data flow and contribute to the end to end design of application framework
  • · Ability to conduct data mapping exercises and create data flow diagrams
