  • Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
  • Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
  • Prepares specifications for system changes
  • May develop systems test plan components and test scripts
  • May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies
  • May provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff
  •  5+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design

Additional Job Details:
  • Data entry into the Deployment Management and Notification (DMaN) tool
  • Validating information compiled from multiple systems (DMaN, Remedy, TechTools)
  • Validating all servers are scheduled and patched
  • Representing PSG during DMaN development calls
  • Communicating date and time changes to the DMaN team
  • Manage schedule change requests
  • Review and approve OS Patching change requests in Remedy
  • Working with Technical Project Managers that manage the implementation of the patches
  • Building relationships with outside teams involved in the OS Patching process
  • Documenting processes and monthly accomplishments
  • Keeping track of other events including firmware upgrade, emergency patching events etc. scheduled through DMAN
  • Maintaining spreadsheets for OS patching and ad hoc work
  • Keeping track of Being Assembled servers and patching schedules
  • Excel proficiency required There are many moving pieces so candidates must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. They must be comfortable escalating unplanned situations to the OS Patching Coordinator and ensuring patching teams are following set rules.
