Diversant has an immediate job opening for a Trainer Job with one of our premier clients in Richmond, VA. We are seeking an experienced Trainer with extensive IT skills and certifications. If you would like to work with one of the most recognizable brands in the US, then this job could be for you.
The Trainer Job will support our client’s technology group.  The technology team provides creative, reliable solutions for our client’s internal and external customers. They provide global services including design, engineering, installation, dispatching, repair, outsourcing and consulting, and project management for a diverse base of network, radio, and applications services supporting information technology systems and networks in industries including finance and retail.
The Trainer will:
  • Engage the class in discussion through the use of appropriate questions, ensuring tone, inflection and practicality are incorporated. Administer evaluation tools and exercises.
  • Provide feedback to content developers regarding the effectiveness of training materials, the sequence of content, and the overall effectiveness of the program.
  • Work with subject matter experts to understand relevant case studies and exercises, as needed.
  • Effectively communicate overall impressions of training program in a clear and succinct manner.
  • Evaluate success of the class based on client needs, learning objectives and overall program objectives.
  • Integrate learning from other sessions/programs as appropriate.
  • Establish milestones associated with specific projects; meet deadlines.
Qualifications Required Experience and Skills:
  • Possesses a minimum 3 years of experience delivering training courses
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, adult education or related discipline preferred.
  • Understand adult learning theory and applies the principles in the classroom, including tailoring content to various learning styles.
  • Exhibit effective classroom management skills that reflect the values and culture.
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet learning styles of students
  • Ability to manage the timing of the delivery so that the content is covered appropriately in the given timeframes.
  • Ability to make appropriate adjustments during the session based on assessment of the success of the training in the moment, while staying true to the objectives.
