Job Description: 
Support Global Banking and Markets Technology (GBAMT) SDLC governance processes (Permit to Build and Permit to Operate)
  • Provide day-to-day support of the SDLC governance process
    • Work with project managers to drive completion of the SDLC governance process.
    • Proactively identify projects at risks and work to drive completion of the SDLC governance process
    • Provide support (including office hours, training, etc.) to project teams
    • Work with teams to drive adoption of the SDLC governance process. Understand and explain the value of the process. Gain buy-in
    • Create process documentation
  • Work with business and technology partners to identify opportunities to simplify /optimize the SDLC governance processes.
    • Understand policies being supported and the evidence required
    • Define processes which support these policies (and changes) in an audit proof manner that is effective for the development teams
Support GBAMT Architecture Management
  • Support the review, assessment and remediation of key risk areas (examples include application resilience, data management, aged technology)
  • Support management of architecture artifacts (Blueprints, Patterns, Standards, etc.)
  • Work with others to develop IT Strategy and Technology plans
Support Risk Management activities for the GBAMT organization:
  • Support audit request and respond effectively.
  • Work with risks teams and others to identify root cause of concerns and identify solutions.
  • Support implementation of governance processes to mitigate risks. Track implementation of governance process
  • Work with business and technology partners to document business processes. Identify opportunities to improve processes.
  • Align business and technology strategies
Required Skills:
  • Understanding of architecture governance concepts and critical controls (permit to build/ permit to operate)
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to conduct training and operationalize processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work people thru challenges.
  • Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities.
  • Must be deadline oriented, able to identify risks and quickly resolve issues and, influence outcomes across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Able to influence and work at all levels of engagement.
  • This is not a development role. Must be able to understand the architecture and governance concepts. Development experience or detailed technology knowledge is not required.
Expected Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 year degree
  • Strong, proactive leadership capabilities – inspiring fellowship.
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships
Desired Knowledge:
  • Experience in Enterprise / Line of business technology architecture governance
  • Knowledge of the Treasury Banking Business and/or Global Markets business
