Key Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:
Member of Futures and Options Operations IT group providing support to our business clients.
The candidate will provide technical analysis, development and support of the LDO vendor application, Prysm, Clearvision, Consensys and associated in-house developed Java applications.
The role is to use functional requirements to write technical specifications and perform development, testing, support of User Acceptance testing, implementation and support of projects.
The successful candidate will perform the role of a developer based in New York / Jersey City but deliveries could be to any location globally.

Role Responsibility:
• Work with the Project Manager/Business analyst, architects and other team members to design solutions of the projects undertaken.
• Participate in and work on all aspects of the technical design & specification phase of projects. Ensure solutions are defined for all requirements, solutions are agreed to by the business line and other IT teams, options are provided for large or complicated changes and all functional design is documented and delivered to an exceptional quality and is consistent across deliveries.
• Provide subject matter expertise to support development & testing of project deliverables and validation of quality assurance.
• Ensure business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries. Participate in initiatives to improve standard business engineering practice.




Essential:

• Experienced IT developer (at least 5 years).

• Self-driven, confident, strategic but pragmatic, good communicator and team player

• Knowledge of full development lifecycle, data analysis and structured analysis and design methods

• Strong technical skills, including technical specification writing

• Ability to work without close supervision, yet to rigid timescales

• Dynamic, pro-active mentality

Strong technical background

• Distributed system development and maintenance

• Experience of test planning and test script design

• Fault tracking methods.

• ETL Tool
• Oracle, SQLServer, Stored Procedure, JDBC, SQL

Nice to have technologies:

• GMI database

Desirable:

Understanding of Investment Banking.

Clearvision, Pyrsm, SEALS, Consensys vendor application knowledge
