Immediate need for a talented Project Manager that brings experience in the Home Building Industry. This is a contract to hire opportunity and is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Please review the below job description and contact me ASAP.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for end-to-end project management demonstrating ownership of the entire project lifecycle (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and closing) for high visibility projects that have a substantial impact to the organization. Partner with project stakeholders to define project scope, document project requirements, monitor progress to completion. Responsible for ongoing status reporting and managing against project timelines for an on-time delivery. Ensures project-related risks are managed throughout the project lifecycle including risk identification, mitigation and monitoring. May be responsible for managing outside vendors. May manage a collection of projects associated with a specific business strategy.
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
 
  • 10-15 years project management experience in software development arena
  • Vendor management experience in the context of delivering software development projects
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal oversight.
  • Able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are critical.
  • Able to communicate in an efficient and effective manner that drives desired outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Agile methodology preferred but not required.
