Immediate need for a talented Data Modeler. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Pennington, NJ. Please review the below job description and contact me ASAP.

Oracle/Exadata:

Job Responsibilities:
Understand logical data modeling (Erwin/Power designer) and convert logical data model to physical data model for Oracle 11g/12c.
Understand the application and provide assistance to SAS developers to build an efficient process.
Develop, maintain and enhance library packages/functions (common functions) in PL/SQL to support application process.
Manage Security - User and role management.
Analyze existing process/application, identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements / process tuning and SQL tuning to eliminate performance bottle necks.
Monitor performance, analyze AWR identify top SQLs and continuously improve the system.
Manage and maintain all schema objects and promote to various environments.
Package database deployment scripts based on release document and handle deployment errors if any during release.

Required Skills:

Must be proficient in Oracle 12c Database and features. Data Warehousing, Star schema data models, Data partitioning and pruning, Oracle Real Application Cluster, ASM, Resource manager, Oracle Enterprise Grid Control , DBFS, Import/Export, SQL Loader, Oracle supplied packages/API, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle timed model statistic, AWR, Oracle MAA, UNIX/ Linux operating system , Shell scripting. Must follow Oracle MAA best practices.
A minimum of ten years of full-time, progressive experience as an application DBA on very large data warehouse database and management. Strong interpersonal and management skills to achieve cooperation/coordination of multiple tasks being performed. Very strong time management and task prioritization skills.
