Project Manager

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
 Individual will be working with clients and end users on large enterprise held software projects.
  • Accountable for managing, leading, and controlling multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Follows Delivery Framework to ensure on time, on budget, successful delivery of projects.
  • Lead project teams of up to 10 resources.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan to track overall project status and update the project team and stakeholders.
  • Build trust-based relationships with clients and the project team resources to facilitate transparent communication and thoughtful dialogue when issues, risks, and challenges are encountered.
  • Own and drive all internal and external communication necessary to ensure the successful delivery of all projects they lead.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and with appropriate levels of detail in order to build customer confidence.
  • Manage and solve problems by identifying and documenting issues and risks as early as possible, then applying critical thinking and problem solving skills to identify the options / recommendations to effectively and efficiently get issues resolved.
  • Escalate issues and risks appropriately – knows when to bring in the Director of Services and other members of the Leadership Team to resolve issues or client challenges.
  • Identify material changes in scope, time and cost; perform change management to assess the impact to the project.  Negotiate client approval and acceptance of any changes before proceeding with the changes.
  • Identify and secure resources to properly staff projects.  Lead and direct these resources in executing the tasks laid out in the project plan.
  • Ensure all bookings are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect tasks and due dates documented in the Project Plan.
  • Support Sales processes through estimating PM tasks, reviewing Statements of Work, and asking detailed questions to further define project scope.
  • Partner with Finance to support month-end process and finalize monthly invoices.
  • Identifies opportunities where  Delivery Framework, processes, and training of resources could be changed or improved.
